In every activity, there is always a group of people who step to the forefront, put aside their own self interest and work for the betterment of the overall group. The Legacy Breeder's Council is made up of such people. Working with our breed magazine, Peruvian Digest, the Breeder's Council has been very instrumental in setting up programs to benefit the Peruvian horse and all those associated with the breed. In 1997, the Breeder's Council joined together to make a traveling exhibit available for state fairs, rodeos and horse shows throughout the United States. Since its introduction, the Peruvian Horse Exhibit has been seen by more than two million people at State Fairs, Rodeos, Horse-A-Ramas, and multi-breed shows throughout the United States. In addition to the exhibit, the Breeder's Council cooperates in this WEB SITE to give anyone searching for information on the Peruvian horse an in-depth look at some of our breed’s top ranches and horses. All of these promotional activities would be extremely expensive and time consuming for one individual to undertake, but working together, the Legacy Breeder's Council has made great strides toward increasing national recognition of our wonderful horse and its many attributes.
